Fresh, local, and unprocessed - It’s how we grew up, it’s how we serve our families, and it’s how we serve our guests at City Bar and Grille.
Our co-owners Al and Cynthia Soto bring both an impressive culinary background and a fresh, local approach to Worcester’s restaurant scene. First meeting at a job interview over 20 years ago, the duo have spent the better half of their careers building up their culinary experience together.
When it comes to our menu, Al and Cynthia have combined their favorite recipes and techniques learned from their experience cooking in upscale restaurants from New York City to Japan, (Al most recently worked as the Executive Chef at Troquet on South), to even cooking for Julia Child herself!
Together, the duo are continually enhancing both our food and beverage menu to bring you food that not only makes both your taste buds and your wallet happy, but food that you can feel good about. Every item on the menu is scratch-made, and we source as many of our ingredients as we can from local farmers and vendors in our community.
